Hello! My name is Owen and I am 21 years old. A few years ago, I decided to learn Polish after getting bored with other languages. I wanted more of a challenge, and since I am about 25% Polish, it made sense to try out what is considered one of the most difficult languages in the world. Despite how difficult Polish is, I really learned to love the language, the Polish people and their culture. I created this bilingual blog to express my love for learning the language, to practice it, as well as to educate the readers about Poland. Now, after having been to Poland twice--once on vacation and once for study abroad--I have more motivation than ever to continue writing in Polish and improving myself. Cześć! Mam na imię Owen i mam 21 lat. Kilku lat temu zdecydowałem się nauczyć języka polskiego po tym, że znudziłem się z nauką innych języków. A więc ma sens, aby się nauczyć jednego z najtrudniejszych języków na świecie, bo chcę sobie rzucić wyzwanie i jestem 25% Polakiem. Mimo, że język polski jest trudny, zakochałem się w nim zarówno Polakach jak i ich kulturze. Stworzyłem ten dwujęzyczny blog, żeby wyrazić miłość dla języka, ćwiczyć go i przybliżać Polskę innym. Teraz mam więcej motywacji na uczenie się języka polskiego dlatego, że byłem w Polsce dwa razy - na wakacje i na studia.
